Office III is the architecture and design collective of Sean Canty, Stephanie Lin, and Ryan Golenberg. We are a practice composed of educators and designers based in New York, Cambridge, and San Francisco. Over the years we have valued a productive feedback between the collaborative model of OIII and our individual practices. The nature of these conversations have deeply informed the way we design spaces for collective engagement.

Sean Canty is a founding partner at Office III and the principal of Studio SC, a design practice that activates environments by conjoining discrete geometries, materials, and architectural types. This combinatorial approach invites closer readings of familiar spaces through the oscillation between resolution and contrast. Sean is currently an Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Stephanie Lin is a founding partner at Office III and leads Present Forms, a design studio based in Brooklyn, New York. Her practice explores the techniques and reciprocities of materials, media, and space, uncovering their embedded cultural narratives and hidden orders. Stephanie is currently the Dean and a Core Faculty member of The School of Architecture based in Arcosanti and Cosanti, AZ, and founded by Frank and Olgivanna Lloyd Wright.

Ryan Golenberg is a founding partner at Office III and the principal of Ryan Golenberg. His interests lie at the intersection of architecture, the body, and media, specifically focusing on architectural representation and its role within our current digital culture. Ryan has taught design and representation courses at the California College of the Arts.
